These tiles represent a variety of methods. The fish is simply a fanciful cut out from slab clay, impressed with tools for texture. The large spiral is from a plaster press mold I made from a clay model. I have many clay molds made from pressing sea shells into moist clay and then firing them when they are dry. The two bottom left shells are from clay molds. The upper right spiral is hand formed.
Each tile represents more than one color of glaze and the fish has metallic gold highlights.
