Green Men
For centuries, greenmen have been a symbol of the power of nature, both good and bad. They are mysterious, enigmatic, sometimes menacing, often benign. In whatever form I create a greenman, he may be playful but never threatening.

I use plaster molds that I have made from clay models. Many of the Greenmen (or Greencats) I embellish with leaves after forming the base in the mold. For others, I use the mold to form a figure to cover with leaf tiles.
